MILGROVE, Ontario — Running competitively throughout the entire feature, Luke Gignac would pick up a top-five finish at Frostoberfest at Flamboro Speedway.
Gignac would finish eighth in his first heat, followed by a fourth in the second qualifier.
The early laps of the feature saw Gignac run just outside of the top-10, moving up into 10th by Lap 11, and was able to get up to ninth by the race’s third caution on Lap 19. Gignac continued to move forward, running seventh by the sixth caution at Lap 42. Under yellow, a fellow competitor was black-flagged, moving Gignac up to sixth. Gignac would get a good restart, allowing him to cross the finish line with a fifth-place finish.
The next race for the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds is at Peterborough Speedway at Autumn Colours Classic.
